I feel emotional writing these lines because for me it is a unique and special day. It took me a long time to decide if I should keep it as something private or share our day here, but I decided to take you with me through the most beautiful experience!
I started the day in the morning with a hair and makeup appointment,while my husband also took care of the haircut and other details.
After I got ready, I went to my parents’ house to wait for my husband and then to go together to the monastery where the religious and civil wedding will take place, because we decided to get married in the courtyard of the monastery.
For me, this place has a great sentimental importance because I used to go here very often during my childhood and the priest who married us religiously is the one who christened me but also the one who was my religion teacher in primary school.
I mention that it was his last year in which he could serve as a priest, so i was very lucky.
With us were our families, godparents and some very close friends and for that we are very grateful!
I cannot describe in words the beauty of this event, but the pictures will speak more about how wonderful it was for us.
