Empathy, it’s a word we hear often,but do we truly understand its power?
Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others.It’s about stepping into someoane else’s shoes ,seeing the world through their joys and sorrows.
I am very empathetic person but sometimes this can be overwhelming so it is important to follow these steps:
- Practicing self-care : Prioritize activities that replenish your own emotional and physical well-being.
- Setting boundaries : Learn to say „NO” and prioritize your own needs.
- Seeking support: Connect with other empathetic individulas or seek professional guidance to process difficult emotions.
- Developing healthy coping mechanisms: Engage in stress-reducing activities such as mindfullnes,exercise,or spending time in nature.
Most of the times it has been shown to me that when you feel sorry for someone, you end up with pity.
It often happens to me that I listen to the problems of those around me, but I realized that I don't tell my problems to others precisely because I know what that means and what impact they can have on those who listen to them.

It's nice to help but it's not nice to exhaust yourself for those who are not ready to learn their lessons and become stronger.
If you often listen to other people’s problems, I advise you to teach them how not to come back to you complaining about the same problem.
Empathy means care, love but not exhaustion and pressure.
