What is love ?

In my opinion, love can not be described by words or measured because each person loves in a unique and special.

I have noticed that most of the time a person feels unloved because the other does not resemble his or her way of loving, and from here starts disappointments, frustrations and you will start comparing your relationship with all the others around.

My opinion is that love is not equivalent to powerful pride, revenge, betrayal.
I often hear people saying:

-I betrayed him, but I loved him.

When you love not trash, you do not betray the trust of the other because you want to protect your loved one from any harm.

Love is not measured in expensive gifts, or in the fact that the other meets certain needs.
Love is pure and eternal dwelling in the hearts of those who love and are loved.

On the other hand, I also disagree with those criteria in which love is described as always „pink”.
How can you get to know if you love or are loved if you do not go through heavy moments with the dear one?

We all stay when everything is good but when everything goes wrong, only those who love themselves stay in relationships and think that their love can overcome any obstacle.

Love means tears, smiles, happiness, sadness, love is emotion, vitality, life.

We are born of love and die in the name of love!

    Loved this – the first night I spent with Goldfinch, he told me about the five languages of love, which are along these lines
    TIME (spending time together)
    TOUCH (including making love)
    GIFTS
    COMPLIMENTS/PRAISE (you’re beautiful etc)
    ACTS OF SERVICE (baking a cake for someone etc)
    He told me that he had a previous long-term relationship that went wrong because for him TIME and TOUCH were love…but for her GIFTS and COMPLIMENTS were. I was grateful to understand him and where he was coming from. I realized that naturally, I show love with ACTS OF SERVICE and GIFTS but love to receive TIME and TOUCH. So I made sure that I gave him plenty of TIME and TOUCH too.

    Dear Friend, love is awesome. Yes. However, there is a certain love that we know here on earth, the humanly love. It is good and it feels good to be in love and be loved. However, there is another love, a much deeper love of which humanly love is only a small piece. That deeper love is God’s love The Bible even goes as far as saying „God is love”. God himself is love. There is a deep sense of love and acceptance that comes with being in the presence of the Lord. The Lord is mighty and majestic, and he is very powerful. Nevertheless, he loves each and every one of us in ways that are so deep that no one else in the world can love us.

    Concerning God’s love, the Bible says in Romans 8: 38 – 39
    „For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord”.

    Going through life without experiencing God’s love, is like eating a fruit without tasting the sweetest part. If you do not yet have a relationship with the Lord, I would strongly suggest that you begin one. There are a lot of blessings that comes from knowing the Lord, and being in fellowship with him. If you already have a relationship with the Lord, that is good, keep believing and working to deepen your relationship with him, and I am sure that he would come through for you somehow.
